Stem Cell TherapyWarren, MI

As the body ages, there is a higher chance for chiropractic health issues to cause more damage or last longer. This is due to the fact that the body does not heal as well once it ages. Therefore, chiropractic injuries can take much longer to heal or never fully return to the healthy state they once were in. People who seek surgery may also have a more difficult time recovering after the surgery than younger patients.

Fortunately, there is a treatment that can restore injuries and damage to the body on a cellular level. Stem cell therapy is more than simply injecting new cells into the body. It involves us directing the stem cells to the specific location to promote the type of healing the patient needs.

Stem Cell Therapy

With advancements in science, the medical world now understands that everyone has stem cells in every organ and in the body. While young, stem cells promote growth for the body. However, they become weaker over time. In fact, skin grafts, bone marrow transplants and heart transplants are forms of stem cell therapy. With the proper treatment, stem cells will form to whatever body part needs them.

In other words, we can help patients to regrow the cells in specific parts of the body. With stem cells, we can help to treat:

  • Arthritic joints
  • Sports injuries
  • Neck and back pain
  • Tendonitis
  • Ligament and meniscal tears
  • Rotator cuff tears and injuries
  • Tennis elbow
  • Non-healing fractures
  • Joint instability
  • Degenerative spinal discs
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Non-healing wounds

For this process to work, we inject specialized stem cells that are activated and rich in growth factors to specific areas of the body. These cells release signal proteins and growth factors to reactivate the stem cells in a specific area of the body. By re-activating the current stem cells through an injection of stem cells in the body, we can help the body stimulate healing through cell growth.

The stem cells that we inject are stronger than the adult stem cells in the body. These stem cells contain signal proteins known as cytokines, which complete the repair function. Without direction or the boost of growth factors, the stem cells will not have much of an effect. It is also important for people to understand that the results will depend on what we are treating.

Q & A

We understand that people may not know much about stem cells or be wary of their effect on the body. People may not be sure if this procedure will have an effect on their overall condition or not. We are here to tell you that in most cases, it does. We hear regular questions about this process and are happy to answer them. Here are a few common questions and our answers to them.

How long will the appointment take?

The appointment itself should not take too long. We are usually able to complete the treatment in one appointment. The entire appointment could take around 30 minutes to an hour, depending on other factors.

Will there be any pain?

In most cases, no. While there will be a small amount of pain at the start of the incision, it is similar to any other injection. The only pain people may feel, is some soreness or discomfort while the stem cells take effect over the next few weeks.

Will I need to be under anesthesia for this procedure?

No. Unlike surgery or other treatments, this procedure will not require you to be under any anesthesia.

How long will it take before I see results?

It will take between two and three months for the treatment to complete. However, you may begin to see results a few weeks after the treatment. If anything, you will notice the results as the symptoms of your condition begin to diminish and not return.

Do I need multiple appointments?

In most cases, no. You will only need one appointment to complete this treatment. If you have any concerns or notice any other problems after the treatment, then give us a call to schedule another appointment. In most cases, a follow-up may not be necessary.

How does the procedure work?

The procedure involves us injecting new and high-density stem cells into the body in order to help promote healthy cell growth. The procedure is minimal and most patients return to their everyday routine after the procedure. The effects will take up to three months to take complete effect, but people may notice changes sooner.

Is there anything I need to know about aftercare?

Certain conditions can affect the growth of the stem cells. In those cases, we will review them with you prior to beginning treatment. We will recommend that patients decrease the amount of alcohol intake since alcohol consumption can delay the release of stem cells.

More Information

Stem cell therapy and stem cell injections are performed using the best live stem cell product. We are able to treat a variety of chronic orthopedic ailments, spine conditions, injuries, and other medical conditions.

Stem cells give new life and our stem cell injections serve as an alternative to surgery, medications, and/or steroids! Our stem cell injections can be used to alleviate the pain and discomfort associated with a variety of ailments including problems of knee, hip, back, neck, shoulder, elbow, and spine, as well as arthritis and other musculoskeletal problems that have failed using conventional methods of treatment.

Stem cells do not just mask symptoms, they heal the underlying cause of the problem by enabling tissue to regenerate! As such, stem cell injections are more effective than traditional surgical procedures as they require less healing time, little to no rehabilitation, and are less painful.

What Are Stem Cells And Where Do They Come From?

We are all born with stem cells. Stem cell therapy has been around for a long, long time. We now know every organ in the body has stem cells which means skin grafts, bone marrow transplants, and heart transplants are all forms of stem cell therapy. Blood transfusions, done as early as World War I, are a form of stem cell therapy. Stem cells have the ability to become whatever your body needs it to be in order to heal the body of all ailments. It can become tissue, bone, ligaments, tendons, cartilage, muscle and organs.

How Do Stem Cells Injections Work?

These high density, activated, stem cells are rich in growth factors and contain the regenerative capacity necessary to regulate and facilitate the natural healing process of injured tissues.

How Do Stem Cells Work?

Once regenerative cells are reintroduced to the injured area, they then release signal proteins and growth factors that stimulate stem cells. These signal proteins and growth factors are called cytokines. It is important to understand that stem cells by themselves are unable to repair the injured area; stem cells must be properly directed, cytokines perform the repair function. The stem cells we use are more densely rich in cytokines than adult stem cells, allowing the body to better guide the stem cell injection to the injured area.Cytokines tell the stem cells and growth factors exactly where to go, what to do, and what to become. Our injections contain a super-high concentration of stem cells and the growth factors needed to regenerate:

  • Collagen – Key building block for joints and connective tissue
  • Growth Factors – Messenger RNA
  • Amino Acids – Proteins
  • Carbohydrates – For metabolism
  • Electrolytes
  • Enzymes
  • Once they are activated, stem cells perform a variety of valuable functions. Apart from repairing damage to the injured areas, stem cells help the damaged and weak cells in our bodies to restore themselves and aid in the body’s natural repair processes.

How Long Does The Stem Cell Repair Process Take?

Generally, the total repair process takes two to three months to complete but in most cases, improvement may be noticed before then. Optimal results are seen as stem cells to continue to differentiate and grow new tissue; stem cells remain active for up to 18 months. There are various conditions that can affect the progress of stem cell therapy, some positively, others negatively. Patients undergoing stem cell therapy are advised to minimize their intake of alcohol, as consumption tends to delay the body’s ability to release stem cells.

    What To Expect?

Since most all procedures are completed in a single office visit and involve minimal discomfort, patients are generally able to resume normal activity and/or return to work the same day.For pain management, orthopedic, and joint pain treatments, patients may experience minimal pain or discomfort as the stem cells work to regenerate; pain relief usually occurs within a few weeks and continues to improve over months.
